Beginning, Middle, and End
All movies have a beginning, middle, and end. An example can be the movie Frozen where in the beginning we are shown how the sisters are seperated so that the magic that Elsa has can be controlled. In the middle we see conflict errupt with Elsa releasing her powers and putting the whole town to sleep. Anna chases after her and there she meets a reindeer, his rider, and a snowman. The middle is the longest part of the movie, where most of the action happens, like Anna finidng Elsa's castle and ice being put in her heart. The end is the resolution, where after Elsa is caputered and she ties to leave she is saved by Anna from being killed and Elsa unfreezes Anna. In the end all loose ends of the story are resolved and it usually becomes a, "they lived happily ever after."
Undeserved Misfortune
The second essential for a good movie is Undeserved Misfortune. An example of Undeserved misfortune is when in the movie, The Dark Knight, Harvey Dent had half his face melted off and his fiancee killed in an explosion. It was undeserved because Harvey was a good person and had continuously tried his hardest to make Gotham a better place.
An example of undeserved misfortune from real life is when my cousin was attacked when he was making a pick up for his father, who is a trucker, and he was hit in the head. The hit had actually damaged his brain and he spent a while in the hospital. He might need help doing things and communicating for the rest of his life. His brain capacity is now to that of someone mentally disabled and it is undeserved because my cousin was a good son, a good person. And the only reason why he was attacked was because he was doing his job and he didn't even know his attackers, had never done anything to them, there was no reason for them to attack him. Yet, he was unfortunae enough to have this happen to him.

Conflict
One of the five essentials for a good movie is conflict. An example of conflict from a movie can be the conflict between Harry Potter and Voldemort in the Harry Potter series. How they, and their sides, represent the fight between "good" and "evil". In every movie the conflict between Harry and Voldemort grows. Like in the first movie Harry and Voldemort race for the stone. In the second movie Harry fights against Voldemort's spirit and so on and so on until it reaches Harry's battle with Voldemort in the final movie.
An example of conflict in real life can be when me sisiter and I where younger and we had a fight for all our possesions. All the things that we shared, like our dolls, and plushies, and movies, were taken by one or the other and we fought on what belonged to who. We spent weeks taking things from each other, trying to hide them, and keep them away from each other. The fight started because we didn't want to share anymore and although it wasn't a big it was a type of conflict between me and my sister.
